How do I register with Henry Fox Commercial?

To us, registration isn’t about you filling in endless forms on a conveyor belt of red tape. It’s about meeting you face-to-face in a relaxed and conversational yet professional environment to learn about you, your aspirations in the job market and your suitability and eligibility criteria for the roles you’re looking for.

Will I need to complete any assessments?

You may, dependent on the type of job and whether your prospective employer requires assessment results to be provided as part of the screening and interview process. We won’t surprise you with tests, you’ll be told in advance and we’ll give you all the information you’ll need.

Once I’m registered with you, do I need to apply for every job I’m interested in on the Henry Fox website?

You don’t. After you’ve been to our offices just off Cannon Street for your registration interview, we’ll approach you with vacancies we deem suitable to you – including some not advertised online to which you’ll have exclusive access.

How often should I contact you?

Henry Fox Commercial isn’t an agency that needs reminding about the value of candidate communication and we’ll speak to you on a regular basis during the recruitment process and beyond to keep you informed and updated.

Will you reformat my CV?

Until your interviews, your CV is the best representation of who you are so we won’t change them although we may offer a little constructive advice if we think it will enhance your chances of securing an interview.

Temp Candidates FAQ's

Can I temp for you?

Of course you can! We are always looking for top calibre temps so if you’re available immediately and suitable for the types of roles we have, we can discuss any opportunities during your registration interview.

As a temp, am I employed by Henry Fox Commercial and how do I get paid?

Yes, you will be employed by Henry Fox Commercial and you will be paid on a weekly basis direct into your bank account on submission of a completed and authorised timesheet. Your rates will be either hourly or daily and we’ll always discuss and confirm figures and responsibilities before every assignment.

What is AWR legislation and will it affect me?

AWR (Agency Workers Regulations) is legislation that commenced in October 2011 to ensure temporary agency workers are given equal treatment (in respect of pay and basic working conditions) after a 12 week qualifying period.

Henry Fox Commercial will discuss AWR with you and explain it in more detail during your temporary assignment and we will always ensure you obtain the correct remuneration and working conditions.

What is Paid Annual Leave and how does it work?

Every temporary worker is entitled to 28 days Paid Annual Leave (PAL) per annum (inclusive of the Bank Holidays) which will be accrued over your working days, weeks and months. Your accrued amount will be confirmed on your weekly Henry Fox Commercial payslip so you can manage your entitlement effectively.

Your entitlement may increase after 12 qualifying weeks due to the AWR legislation and comparative benefits. * Different organisations offer different PAL amounts, so this will be confirmed on a case-by-case basis.
